What do you do when you're handed a new development condo with unchangeable dark flooring? You get creative, embrace bold colors, and be strategic with our designs

This home presented specific challenges that required creative solutions. The compact condo layout demanded precise furniture sizing to maximize every square inch. We deliberately chose a vibrant color palette to combat the dark flooring's light-absorbing properties. Warm tone and rich accents were strategically placed to reflect available light and create visual warmth. The bohemian influences, through layered textiles, organic patterns, and mixed materials, added personality. 

We relied on custom furniture that is designed to fit the condo's specific dimensions. The console table behind the sofa exemplifies this approach, positioned in an extremely tight space, it required exact measurements to utilise the area fully. The console was curved specifically to complement the sofa's silhouette while serving dual purposes as both a visual element and functional workspace for coffee or remote work. Who says aesthetically pleasing furniture pieces can't be functional too? 

The transformation addresses common condo living challenges: lack of storage, limited natural light, and cookie-cutter aesthetics. The custom solutions increased functional storage, the bold color choices and strategic lighting improved the space's brightness perception, while the cohesive design created a unique identity that distinguishes this unit from others. Most importantly, the design is centered around the clients' daily routines.
