Hey, I’m so glad you’ve stumbled upon Make Room!
I’m Barbara Fritschy and I founded this studio with the belief that everyone should have access to good design, through a process that’s easy, transparent and flexible.
We’ve been on this mission for over 10 fabulous years, delivering 100s of beautiful traditional and innovative spaces and it never gets boring - I am still excited to present a home or office proposal to a prospect client and can't wait to implement a design concept.
Today I have a small team of design experts to help me on this mission, who you can meet below. So whether you just want to transform a single room (for a set price) or have ambitious plans for you're whole home, look no further!

Meet our jack-of-all- trades, Niamh!
(it's pronounced 'Neev'!)
Niamh has a photography background and is a black belt in styling and design, heading up MR's larger renovation projects.
As if that's not enough, she also manages MR's marketing and leads the Friday team yoga sessions!

Don't let Farhana's quiet demure fool you! She's the team's secret styling weapon, tackling smaller projects for MR's Room Transformation client's.
She's got a great eye for style both for the home and fashion and you'll usually find her halfway across the world on her time off.

Karina is MR's design and renovation expert. With previous experience in a construction office, her design detailing precision and technical knowledge is second to none!

When Insha's not designing her family home in Bali, or exploring an exotic part of the world she can be found creating spaces for MR. Insha leads our smaller renovation projects, taking care of everything from carpentry detailing to accessory sourcing.

As our newest member to the design team, Kaie is helping balance out the boys to girls ratio at the MR HQ!
Kaie joined the team to help MR's renovation projects, project managing and design detailing, but he's quickly gotten hooked on styling briefs too. Watch this space!

Hamimah is proudly working her way up! Having joined the Make Room team as our handy intern, we quickly realised we couldn't live without her soft, warm personality and keen eye for all things design. Hamimah also helps keep us in check when we start to run a little too wild with colour as she's a true minimalist at heart.

The first thing you'll learn about Irene is her love for her dogs, then you'll be swept away by her financial prowess.
Irene manages MR's contracts, payments and receipts and we'd be lost without her!

In case you thought MR was running low on energy, in steps our Junior Marketing Coordinator, Gargi! Full of youthful energy and an absolute wizard with the latest social media trends, she's our superwoman that keeps our Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, email newsletters and the lot up and running with style.
