A Quirky Family Home with Playful Design Details

The brief was simple: add character into a dated 2-storey condo unit. The previous tenants had lived in this space for decades and clearly they loved it, but it was time to freshen things up for the new home owners. A brand new kitchen was priority number one - something that felt bright and energetic while still practical and easy to maintain. Second to that came the bathrooms which were in decent condition so the focus was more on an aesthetic overhaul. This meant we could keep costs down by overlaying tiles and adding simple carpentry upgrades. Simple doesn't mean no style though! We're in love with the tiling details in this home and the overall warm, approachable colour palette that is soothing yet full of life.
